Anna Zamecka is a Polish director, writer and producer. Her debut feature film Communion received numerous international awards, including the European Film Award for Best European Documentary 2017, the Critic's Week Award at the 69th Locarno Film Festival and was also shortlisted in the documentary category for the 91st Academy Award. She studied cultural anthropology and photography in Warsaw and Copenhagen. She is a member of the European Film Academy.
